Care of Police Survivors

Care of Police Survivors provides support for the families of police officers who have lost their lives while on duty. COPS aims to provide survivors with all the help they need to cope with such tragedy and to ensure they remain a part of the police family.

City University London

City University London was founded in 1894 as the Northampton Institute and was awarded full university status in 1966. Today the University is renowned for its international focus, the employability of its graduates and its links with business and professions. The Centre for Investigative, Security and Police Sciences (CISPS) at City runs a host of pioneering courses for policing and security professionals, including the Student Officer Programme, a milestone in police training. This course is unique because of its tripartate nature, bringing together two forces for training: the British Transport Police and the City of London Police.


Policing is vital to public safety, NPIA is part of the police service. Our purpose is to make a valuable contribution to improving public safety.

The British Police Cricket section of Police Sport UK. 2010 will see the BPCC entering the world of 20/20 cricket.
